Norwich's current and past Sheriffs are delighted to be hosting the 2023  National Association of City and Town's Sheriffs of England and Wales' Annual General Meeting and Conference Weekend.

Welcome reception at

Norwich Castle

at 6.30pm with light refreshments

Saturday 30th September, Annual General Meeting

The AGM will start at 10.30 am at the City Hall.   

Tea and coffee will be available and a light lunch provided following the meeting. 

Members are encouraged to submit items for discussion via the 'Agenda Item Request' form.

To encourage discussion and debate about relevant matters concerning the Association, Members are invited to submit agenda items for discussion using the brief form below, to be returned to the Secretary. 

Saturday Afternoon

After lunch there is a choice of excursions for the afternoon. 

 

  • ​​​​​​​​Free time to explore the city including a 'must' visit to the famous 'Jarrold' independent department store

  • open top bus tour

  • Guided tour of Norwich Cathedral

  • A visit to Norwich's museums

Saturday evening's Dinner will be at Blackfriars Hall

(the largest surviving friary complex in England, dating back to 14thC)

St Peter Mancroft Church has stood in the heart of Norwich for almost 600 years

       Sunday 1st October

 

Sheriffs will meet at 9.00 am at St Peter Mancroft Church for robing and photographs. 

Sung Eucharist will begin at 10am.

Tea and Coffee will be provided prior to departure.
